Chromium-Molybdenum (Cr-Mo) Alloy Steel Mill Liner Plates are engineered wear-resistant components designed for applications requiring a balanced combination of high impact resistance and excellent abrasion performance.
Manufactured from medium and low chromium-molybdenum alloyed cast steel, these liners adopt a multivariate alloy design that promotes stable carbide formation and a martensitic matrix. This metallurgical structure ensures consistent hardness, strong structural integrity, and reliable performance under continuous medium-to-high impact and abrasive grinding conditions.
Material & Performance
Cr-Mo alloy steel liners are designed to operate in composite working conditions where both impact and abrasion are significant. The martensitic matrix reinforced by dispersed carbides provides excellent resistance to metal-to-metal and ore-induced wear, while maintaining sufficient toughness to withstand repeated ball and ore impacts without cracking or spalling.
